Our Story

For nearly 2 years, from 2020 to 2022, Steve Mages worked on the formula for the “Axcel Energy Super Shot”, the positioning of the brand, the packaging, and the marketing concept.

He was initially inspired with the idea while talking to a friend about PH Alkalizer water shots in Germany. But what was most ironic about their conversation was they were both laying in hospital beds, after breaking their backs competing in the same motorcycle race that weekend in Germany, 2019. A year later dawning back to the conversation they had, Steve decided to create the Axcel Energy brand, 2020.

Being an energy drink consumer himself, Steve wanted to feel less guilty about drinking them. He realized the energy shot market leaders weren’t using any healthy options, organics, or marketing concepts for people who dare to chase their goals or aspire to live an adventurous life.
